Privacy and security at Clearify AI
This policy explains how Clearify AI collects and uses information when you use the web app, API, or MCP service.
Information we collect
- Account data: email address, password hash, and sign-in method.
- Usage data: web-app usage, API and MCP job status, metered units, and subscription status.
- Developer access data: API key prefix, scopes, status, and recent use. Full API key secrets are shown only once.
- Billing data: Stripe customer, subscription, and metered-usage identifiers.
Image processing
Images are processed to complete the enhancement you request. Inputs and outputs may be retained temporarily while a web, API, or MCP job runs and while its result link remains available. Images are also sent to our image-processing provider to generate the requested result. Signed result links expire, and authenticated users can delete retained job data where supported.
Cookies and local storage
We use an httpOnly cookie for authentication. The client may also store a token in local storage to help rehydrate sessions.
Third parties
We use service providers to operate Clearify AI, including Stripe for web subscriptions and metered API/MCP billing, Google for single sign-on (if enabled), hosting providers, and an image-processing provider for enhancement.
